The SBMC portal is a private site for members of the group. Here is what happens to what you put in it.
Who can see it
What you add to the portal, such as your profile, posts, comments, RSVPs and pictures, is visible to members and the board.
What we never do
We never sell your information and never share it outside the group. The one exception is pictures members place in the social media drop zone, which are there for SBMC to post on its social media.
A guest you invite gets a link that shows them that one event: its title, date, place, flyer and description. Nothing else about the club or its members is visible from it.
A note you add when you RSVP ("anything the board should know?") is seen only by you and the board, on that event's page. It is never emailed or shown to other members.
The portal sends email, such as sign-in codes, reminders and announcements. Once an email leaves the portal it can be forwarded like any other email.
What can't be taken back
When someone leaves the group, their access ends right away. Anything already delivered to a member's device, such as an email or a saved picture, cannot be recalled.
No tracking
The portal has no advertising and no analytics trackers, and it asks search engines not to list it.
